"It's all about the Music!" A tribute concert for Karen Knowlton

First Prize winners Antonio Pompa-Baldi (1999), Chu-Fang Huang (2005), Margarita Shevchenko (1995), and Roberto Plano (2001), plus Pierre van der Westhuizen and Mark Dumm performing a piano/violin duet, will pay musical tribute to retiring Executive Director Karen Knowlton.

The Westhuizen Duo

The Cleveland debut of the Westhuizen Duo, featuring Executive Director Pierre van der Westhuizen in performance with his wife, pianist Sophia van der Westhuizen. The duo has been performing together for over ten years, and has received critical acclaim across the U.S., Europe, and South Africa.

Kyu Yeon Kim, fourth prize and Mozart prize winner in 2011, will present an exhilarating program featuring the works of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart.

Eric Zuber, third prize winner in 2011, returns for an evening of music for solo piano, as well as chamber music, with members of The Cleveland Orchestra. The program will feature Mendelssohn's powerful Piano Trio in D Minor, Op. 49.
